Bonhams September Jewellery Sale

On 19th September 2017, Bonhams New York will be exhibiting 180 Lots of Fine Jewellery including Bracelets, Brooches, Earrings, Necklaces, Pendants, Rings and Watches.
Lot 178 will include a stunning Platinum ring with split shoulders set with round brilliant diamonds featuring an Internally Flawless, D-Colour, 16.90ct Step-Cut diamond. Its estimated pre-sale value is AUD$2million to AUD$2.7million.
Lot 24 features an antique diamond, ruby and emerald brooch, circa 1900, originally bought at a garage sale in Ohio, for $8.00. The brooch has a 1.39ct old-mine cut diamond of D colour and VS1 clarity, a 1.50ct Columbian emerald and a 0.60ct oval Burmese ruby. Its estimated pre-sale value is AUD$24,000 to AUD$38,000.
Amongst the 180 Lots will be signed jewellery from Cartier, David Webb, Harry Winston, Raymond Templier and René Lalique along with Gigi Guggenheim Danziger ‘s personal collection, which will include 32 pieces of her fine jewellery from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s during the time when the Danziger family owned Cartier Paris.
